It was also in 2010 when I took my Reiki 1 class and loved it! Jessica is an amazing instructor too! The Soul Purpose has a plethora of offerings to the public! There’s card readers, energy healers, acupuncture, massage therapy, classes, shamans, and even The Birchtree Ministers who offer free events such as The Spiritual cafe where discussions on spiritual topics brings light and love to all who attend ! It’s a great place .

I really wasn't qualified for this course.

I had never practiced Reiki but have had it performed on myself many times. Soul Purpose actually really can feel you and what you are called to do. Any class they offer if you have that little voice in the back of your head saying try it you should. They will embrace you with open arms . It’s like that hug that says it’s alright and I am with you.

The Birch Tree Sanctuary is a beautiful space located within The Soul Purpose® in Swansea, MA. It is a vision created by Rev. Jessica Kozak-Shaw who is an ordained minister of the Metaphysical Universal Ministry out of Allentown, PA. The chapel seats 16 and is an inclusive sacred space for people of all faiths, beliefs, and traditions.

It is named The Birch Tree Sanctuary because the birch is a pioneer species that gives it a symbol of rebirth, new beginnings and growth. It’s a sacred tree and is thought to have very protective influences.

Birch Tree Sanctuary offers workshops, courses and gatherings to enhance your spiritual journey.
